Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of active transportation projects from concept through construction administration
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business
• Oversee and mentor project teams, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment
• Manage and track project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
• Lead permitting efforts and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve technical or design challenges
• Ensure quality control of all project deliverables, including design documents and reports
• Contribute to business development through proposals and client presentations
• Perform supervisory responsibilities including performance appraisals and work direction

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• PE registration with ability to obtain licensure in multiple states via comity
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in transportation design
• Expertise in corridor modeling using Civil 3D
• Knowledge of NACTO and AASHTO standards for greenway and active transportation design
• Strong budget, schedule, and resource management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microstation or Open Roads Designer
