Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of active transportation projects from concept through construction administration
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business
• Oversee and mentor project teams, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment
• Develop, manage, and track project budgets and schedules
• Lead permitting efforts and work with local agencies to ensure regulatory compliance
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve technical or design challenges
• Ensure the quality of all project deliverables, including design documents and construction drawings
• Manage relationships with external subconsultants, contractors, and vendors
• Contribute to business development through proposals and client presentations
• Perform supervisory responsibilities including performance appraisals and work direction

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• PE registration with ability to be licensed in multiple states via comity
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in transportation design
• Demonstrated expertise in corridor modeling using Civil 3D
• Strong understanding of NACTO and AASHTO standards for greenway and active transportation design
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microstation or Open Roads Designer
