Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Direct all project phases including engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning/start-up
• Manage project execution with a focus on maintaining or improving as-sold profit levels
• Lead project teams and facilitate communication among functional representatives
• Track project progress against schedule, budget, and phase gate review objectives
• Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule or unanticipated occurrences
• Review and approve key project documents such as P&IDs, Plot Plans, and Operating Manuals
• Negotiate differences with clients and internal personnel to meet project goals
• Maintain awareness of safety and environmental requirements throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• BS / BA degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 7 years of industrial-related project management experience
• General understanding of contract administration, business principles, and business law
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) environment
• Broad understanding of various engineering disciplines
