Senior Project Manager, Laboratory

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical laboratory operations workstreams to ensure deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding ICON Central Laboratories (ICL) services, including study setup and day-to-day management
• Represent ICL at client meetings and provide regular study updates
• Manage studies in strict accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
• Communicate study progress to clients and Project Management leadership in a professional manner
• Represent the Project Management function at internal interdepartmental and interdivisional meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, or a related relevant field
• Proven experience in project management within a laboratory or clinical research setting
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to train junior Project Managers
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and internal stakeholder management
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail regarding study documentation, timelines, and budgets
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% as required
