Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Apply project management methodologies combining Agile and Waterfall best practices to reinforce PMO standards
• Facilitate project resources to define tasks, durations, effort, and dependencies to establish implementation schedules
• Oversee completion of project tasks, manage group conflicts, and escalate risks or issues as needed
• Deliver accurate and consistent communication to project teams, management, and stakeholders
• Establish project scope and develop plans based on requirements to ensure commitments are met within agreed timelines
• Collaborate with other IT Project Managers and Program Managers on interdependent enterprise projects
• Coordinate the work of technical professionals and staff across various functions and disciplines
• Manage budget estimates, actual costs, and remaining work forecasts, escalating risks to project sponsors
• Protect the team by identifying and removing distractions, impediments, or roadblocks

Requirements

• 5+ years of Project Management, Technical Delivery, or Technical Program Management experience
• Proficiency in various project management methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, and Kanban
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and incremental delivery metrics
• Experience managing procurement for software, software development, and hardware
• Familiarity with work management tools such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, OnePlan, or PPM tools
• Ability to navigate complex release management environments and coordinate software releases
