About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for project success, acting as the lead liaison between clients, design teams, and subcontractors
  • Lead project strategy, staffing, and execution approach to align with client expectations and company objectives
  • Oversee project administration, including change orders, document control, and meeting management
  • Own project financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, cost reporting, and profitability
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks such as delays, scope gaps, and claims
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
  • Lead and mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers
  • Partner with field leadership to ensure coordination of construction activities, quality standards, and schedule adherence

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • At least 10 years of experience in interiors or high-end projects, preferably commercial or corporate office spaces
  • Working knowledge of construction disciplines, union agreements, cost control, and scheduling
  • Understanding of construction contracts, retention, and releases
  • 30-Hour OSHA certification
  • 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Certificate
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Procore
  • Experience with Timberline
