About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver projects across varied scopes and disciplines, meeting agreed success criteria
- Define project scope and assist with business case preparation and funding approvals
- Engage with all relevant parties to capture inputs, restrictions, approvals and requirements
- Manage tender preparation, bid analysis, and contract awards for consultants and contractors
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, process payments, and manage changes
- Control site activities for safe and compliant delivery in collaboration with consultants and safety advisors
- Identify and mitigate project risks to minimize issues
- Maintain quality standards across design and construction phases
Requirements
- Proven track record in designing and delivering construction projects, especially within the water sector
- Understanding of waste water treatment plant + systems
- Skilled in contractor management and contract administration (NEC)
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently across all lifecycle stages
- Strong communication and consultation skills
- Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft 365 Apps
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
