About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact with clients and key stakeholders from pre-contract award through project closeout
- Manage all phases of the project lifecycle from pre-construction planning through commissioning
- Lead pre-construction planning activities including design development, value engineering, and risk management
- Coordinate with Design, Purchasing, and Print/Construction teams to develop design packages and cost estimates
- Develop and own the project schedule and hold team members accountable for execution
- Build, monitor, and manage project budgets, including pay applications, change orders, and invoice management
- Lead procurement and subcontracting efforts by developing scopes of work and RFPs
- Coordinate site activities among trade partners, suppliers, and inspectors to ensure safety and quality
- Collaborate with Print Operations to deliver 3D-printed building systems within technical constraints
- Implement and enforce quality control and safety plans
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience managing large-scale construction projects
- Experience with design-build delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Proficiency with construction project management software (Procore, Smartsheet, Primavera P6, or Bluebeam)
- Proven ability to manage project budgets and schedules
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE), Registered Architect (RA), PMP, or CCM certification
- Experience on MILCON, USACE, or NAVFAC-administered federal construction projects
- Knowledge of UFC, FAR/DFARS, or EM 385-1-1 safety standards
- Experience incorporating advanced or innovative construction technologies
