Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of large-scale technology projects through the full project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to time, budget, and quality requirements.
• Lead and motivate distributed, virtual project teams across multiple geographic locations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project plans, tracking milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with internal directorates and external 3rd party suppliers to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Provide accurate project status and financial reporting (MI) to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Manage operational readiness, including training and handovers, to ensure successful project implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement by conducting post-implementation reviews and sharing lessons learned.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably within investment/securities back office, wealth, or pensions.
• Significant experience leading business-critical software implementation projects.
• Fluency in both German and English is mandatory.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging at executive levels.
• Proficiency in MS Project and Excel for forecasting and charting.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• A university degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or MBA) or equivalent professional experience.
• Understanding of the German regulatory environment.
