Senior Project Manager Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor engineering projects and sub-projects, including new installations, renovations, and expansions of production or infrastructure facilities.
• Manage projects from initial concept through to commissioning, ensuring compliance with technical standards, GMP requirements, and HSE guidelines.
• Take full responsibility for project budgets, timelines, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Ensure GMP compliance for all facilities, constructions, and processes, including the management of digital and paper technical documentation in collaboration with Quality Assurance.
• Manage interfaces between various departments, planners, suppliers, and trades.

Requirements

• University degree in Process Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, or a related engineering field.
• Proven experience in the planning and technical management of production plants within the life science or biotechnology sector.
• Several years of experience in independent project management of interdisciplinary teams.
• Extensive experience in cost, schedule, and change management for investment projects valued at at least 10 million CHF.
• Strong knowledge of GMP standards within the chemical-pharmaceutical industry.
• Fluency in German and solid proficiency in English.
• High level of resilience and flexibility in a dynamic environment.
