Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, baseline development, and project scoping for nuclear and infrastructure projects
• Manage and administer NEC3/4 contracts on the client side
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and oversee project delivery from planning to final account
• Monitor project expenditure, manage cash flow, and drive budget control
• Identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Navigate change orders, variations, and dispute avoidance forums
• Ensure compliance with governance, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Extensive experience in project management within major infrastructure sectors (Nuclear, Water, Defence, etc.)
• Deep understanding of NEC3/4 forms of contract
• Proven experience leading multi-disciplined teams and managing stakeholders
• Knowledge of CDM regulations and safety/environmental legislation
• Strong commercial acumen and experience with large complex procurement projects
• Degree or HNC in an engineering discipline or equivalent relevant experience
• Valid CSCS card
• Right to work in the UK

Preferred Qualifications

• NEC (3/4) accreditation
• Membership of IET / IAM leading to Chartered Status
• Management qualifications such as APM, IPMA, or Prince2/PMP
• NEBOSH General Certificate
• Technical knowledge of the UK Power Sector (Overhead Lines, Substations, etc.)
