Senior Project Manager, Economic Mobility

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with workforce development service providers and community-based organizations
• Maintain project management plans, outlines, and schedules
• Collaborate on economic mobility planning and citywide strategy implementation
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to address complex problems
• Monitor external workforce trends and synthesize findings for leadership
• Provide subject matter consultation on economic justice and workforce topics
• Create presentations and memos for senior staff and City Hall
• Serve as an ambassador at workforce development events and community meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of experience in workforce development, project management, or partnership creation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to build professional relationships and collaborate cross-functionally
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills
• New York City residence required within 180 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in equitable economic development or economic justice
• Quantitative research and data analysis skills
• Experience in strategy, management consulting, public policy, or social enterprise
