Senior Project Manager – Data Center

Responsibilities

• Serve as the overall PMC lead with accountability for safety, schedule, cost, quality, and delivery outcomes.
• Act as the primary senior interface with the Employer, leading governance forums and strategic decision-making.
• Establish and implement a disciplined project governance framework, including reporting, controls, and dashboards.
• Lead and integrate a multi-disciplinary PMC team across construction, technical, commercial, planning, HSE, and commissioning.
• Oversee the development and execution of the Project Execution Plan in alignment with global design requirements.
• Manage programme certainty through early risk identification and the development of schedule recovery strategies.
• Provide senior oversight of FIDIC contract administration to safeguard the Employer’s commercial position.
• Champion a zero-harm HSE culture and drive a quality-first delivery approach for long-term operational reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in the Data Centre (DC) sector.
• Proven experience delivering hyperscale or enterprise data center campuses in phased, live-environment conditions.
• Extensive experience leading large, complex PMC or PMO assignments for mission-critical infrastructure.
• Strong proficiency in FIDIC contracts and exercising independent professional judgment.
• Demonstrated capability in programme governance, risk management, and senior stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to manage multi-package delivery environments involving numerous consultants and specialist vendors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST), and RFS readiness.
• Familiarity with digital project controls platforms such as Procore, SmartSheets, or SharePoint.
• Experience working within the Middle East regulatory and authority approval landscape.
