Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute mid-sized projects or specific portions of larger programs in accordance with contract requirements and company policies.
• Manage and control Project Work Plan execution to achieve technical, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Define, launch, and drive mission-critical strategic and operational initiatives.
• Lead project teams and conduct regular meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues regarding scope, quality, and resource assignments.
• Maintain effective customer communications to ensure all requirements and expectations are addressed.
• Review and control project costs, including the coordination and certification of Estimate at Complete dates.
• Develop and monitor Project Risk Management Plans.
• Support new business development by leading proposals and acquiring follow-on business.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
• 7+ years of project management or project leadership experience.
• Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Excellent organization, communication (written and oral), and presentation skills.
• US citizenship is required due to DoD requirements.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
