About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of external design engineers across all disciplines to deliver large campus data center projects
- Interface with clients, design teams, construction teams, and vendors
- Create high level calculations for mechanical systems
- Review GIS, FEMA, Topographic studies, and surveys to determine site feasibility
- Prepare conceptual level systems design for mechanical cooling and sequence of operations for mechanical plants
- Review and interpret CFD reports and determine corrective actions
- Translate client design standards into design requirements for external partners
- Review large-campus design packages to optimize for cost, schedule, and design standards
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience in mechanical or architectural engineering
- Experience with design management and leading teams of design professionals
- Technical expertise in MEP systems
- Experience with large central utility plant design, construction, and commissioning
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineering license
- Data center specific experience
