About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage complex capital commitment projects from conception through design development to construction completion and close-out
- Review proposed projects to determine execution methods and timelines
- Supervise, coordinate, and direct construction management and staff
- Develop deliverable dates and adhere to project schedules
- Appraise the Project Executive of issues regarding scheduling, cost, and construction
- Liaise among Program Management Consultants, Design-Builders, and regulatory agencies
- Maintain comprehensive project history files and review change orders and reports
Requirements
- Four years of full-time experience in civil engineering work
- Valid New York State Professional Engineer’s License
- Ability to work in New York, NY and Long Island City, NY
- Authorization to work full-time in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in civil engineering (can substitute for one year of experience)
- Experience as a major contributor or project leader on complex projects within the last three years
