Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage complex capital commitment projects from conception through design development to construction completion
• Review proposed projects to determine execution methods and timelines
• Work with Sponsor Agencies to ensure understanding of project scope
• Supervise, coordinate, and direct construction management and staff
• Develop deliverable dates and adhere to project schedules
• Appraise the Project Executive of issues regarding scheduling, cost, and construction
• Liaise among Program Management Consultants, Design-Builders, and regulatory agencies
• Maintain comprehensive project history files and review change orders

Requirements

• High school diploma and five years of experience managing construction projects costing at least $300,000 annually; OR
• Baccalaureate degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management plus one year of relevant experience; OR
• Valid license as a professional engineer, registered architect, or registered landscape architect plus one year of relevant experience
• Must be permanent in the Construction Project Manager title or reachable on Open-Competitive Exam #3042 or #5058
• Valid New York State motor vehicle driver license
• Authorization to work full-time in the United States
