Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage individual development projects including review and approval of plans, site investigation reports, and remedial action work plans
• Implement applicable laws, regulations, and policy to meet strategic environmental and engineering goals
• Lead communications with development teams, the general public, elected officials, and other city agencies
• Oversee and review work products produced by Project Managers and provide training opportunities
• Inspect and participate in field sampling, remediation, and engineering activities
• Review and oversee Site Management Plans and recommend changes based on inspection findings
• Prepare original proposals and complex reports regarding environmental engineering and remediation matters
• Maintain databases and archives for program oversight

Requirements

• Valid New York State Professional Engineer License
• Four years of full-time experience in environmental engineering (a Master's degree in environmental engineering can substitute for one year of experience)
• For Assignment Level II or III: at least one year of experience as a major contributor or project leader on a complex project within the last three years
