Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Translate business objectives into capital project deliverables
• Accountable for project success, including cost, investment, and evaluation of non-capital alternatives
• Set overall Project Team direction and expectations
• Manage project resources, expenditures, and schedules to meet business expectations
• Serve as the primary interface between the Project Team and the Business Unit Steering Team
• Drive capital project work processes and practices according to company procedures
• Lead gatekeeping reviews and ensure all Front-end (FEL) deliverables and funding documents are met
• Ensure commissioning, turnover plans, and maintenance procedures are prepared
• Collaborate with Construction Leaders to address design issues and facilitate construction performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or technical discipline
• 10+ years of engineering project management experience
• Self-managing and proactive approach to work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial setting
• Experience working within the chemicals industry
• Experience working in a phase-gate project process
