Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead high-value automation and electrification capital projects from inception to completion
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
• Define project objectives, scope, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
• Manage project risks and issues by developing contingency plans and mitigation strategies
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and supply chain
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
• Provide regular project status updates, including budget and schedule reports to senior leadership
• Mentor and coach junior project managers on regional project management methodologies
• Drive continuous improvement of project management processes and tools

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in project management, specifically delivering automation and electrification projects
• Strong understanding of automation and electrification technologies and industry standards
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel to domestic and international sites (typically 5-20%)
• Legally entitled to work in the USA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the pulp & paper industry
• Ability to register as a Professional Engineer (PE)
