Senior Project Manager, AI Initiatives

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex business and technology projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and Slalom's delivery standards.
• Manage a portfolio of concurrent AI initiatives, translating priorities into integrated project plans with clear timelines, milestones, and success metrics.
• Partner with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to drive execution from planning through production deployment and post-launch stabilization.
• Apply Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies to drive iterative progress and adapt to evolving technology needs.
• Establish project governance, including RAID logs, executive status reporting, and deployment readiness assessments.
• Leverage AI tools and techniques, such as generative AI and predictive analytics, to improve delivery effectiveness and automation.
• Support business development through scoping, estimation, and proposal contributions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project, program, or delivery management leading complex business and technology initiatives in enterprise or consulting environments.
• Demonstrated success delivering digital transformation, data, analytics, or AI initiatives from planning through deployment.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects while navigating dependencies and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional technical teams, including Engineering, Data & Analytics, and AI/ML.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions and build alignment.
• Ability to work onsite in the Nashville, TN metropolitan area up to 5 days a week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as PMP, Scrum.org, Scrum Alliance, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
• Experience in product ownership or product management within an agile delivery framework.
