Senior Project Management Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage program execution, scope, schedule, budget, and Estimate at Completion (EAC) using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
• Establish Performance Measurement Baselines and ensure Control Accounts (CA) align with the Statement of Work (SoW)
• Monitor cost elements, track EVM performance, and provide monthly updates
• Identify cost and schedule impacts to risks and opportunities and implement mitigation plans
• Analyze and report variances (VARs) and implement corrective action plans to address root causes
• Maintain audit-ready files for Control Accounts to facilitate government and internal audits
• Coordinate horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between teams, suppliers, and customers

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
• 5+ years of experience leading projects using Project Management Best Practices and tools
• 5+ years of experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• 5+ years of experience developing and managing metrics
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting an engineering function
• An active security clearance
