Senior Project Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead large design teams and manage workloads through effective task delegation
• Oversee multiple complex projects, defining scope, goals, and deliverables
• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Lead communication with internal and external stakeholders including architects and engineers
• Oversee 3D model and shop drawing development
• Lead estimating and quoting activities, including material take-offs
• Implement quality control processes for all digital planning outputs
• Onboard and mentor Project Leaders, Coordinators, and Interns

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in architecture, project management, or construction management
• 8+ years of industry experience in fabrication, architecture, or construction
• Proficiency in Cadwork and architectural modeling software (Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper)
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities
• Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management
• Proficiency with BIM software and project management tools
• Ability to work on-site in Nelson, BC

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in construction such as timber frame, carpentry, or steel erection
