About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute controls projects with an emphasis on delivering PLC and HMI/SCADA products
- Perform PLC logic design and programming
- Design and program HMI systems
- Design and review electrical control circuits
- Manage installation, commissioning, and site investigations
- Perform systems integrations using serial and ethernet protocols
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- Prepare technical proposals, reports, and electronic deliverables
- Present to customers and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of PLC programming utilizing IEC-61131 languages
- 5+ years of HMI/SCADA design and programming
- 5+ years of electrical schematic design for control systems
- Valid Ignition certification
- Experience with industrial automation communication protocols
- Experience providing technical oversight to small integration teams
- Ability to travel nationally or internationally to remote locations
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or Computer Science preferred
