Senior Project Engineer - Traffic

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage traffic engineering scope for assigned project packages
• Develop traffic staging plans, traffic guidance schemes, and methodology
• Coordinate with design teams, traffic authorities, and subcontractors
• Provide technical leadership in traffic modelling, planning, and safety analysis
• Manage risk, approvals, and compliance with project and VicRoads standards
• Mentor and support junior engineers and contribute to a strong team culture

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Significant experience in traffic engineering on major road or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of traffic management standards and VicRoads requirements
• Experience delivering complex traffic staging in live environments
• Proven ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders, authorities, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership capability, and commercial acumen
