Responsibilities

• Perform grading, drainage, pond, water, sewer, and pump station design
• Design erosion control and road systems
• Research local requirements, laws, and ordinances affecting design
• Document requirements from AHJs and prepare engineering reports
• Coordinate with reviewers and adhere to RCE drafting and design standards
• Review work for compliance before submission to Project Manager
• Oversee in-house and outsourced technical staff
• Meet weekly with Project Manager to align on priorities and deadlines
• Recommend efficiencies in drafting production

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• Professional Engineer license with capability of obtaining licensure in GA, FL, and SC
• Experience in land/site development design and permitting
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in engineering design
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
