Senior Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution, and delivery of projects by coordinating technical activities and managing contractor interfaces
• Prepare tendering and service orders, including scope definition, technical evaluation, and commercial coordination
• Follow up on design drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
• Monitor work progress and ensure alignment with project schedules and quality standards
• Support the Senior Project Manager in managing site activities, contractor performance, and stakeholder coordination
• Participate in the preparation and review of technical submittals, method statements, RFIs, and progress reports
• Act as the primary focal point between the Abu Dhabi office and site teams to ensure effective information flow
• Assist in resolving design, construction, and site issues while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Support quality compliance, cost monitoring, and the preparation of handover documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum of 15+ years of professional engineering experience
• Proven experience working in the Majnoon Oil Field
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools such as Primavera or MS Project
• Strong technical background with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively in complex environments with multi-disciplinary teams
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are considered a plus
