About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute and supervise MEP works according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, structural, and specialist contractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP services.
- Supervise the installation of HVAC, ventilation, firefighting, plumbing, and ELV systems.
- Oversee HT/LT systems, transformers, DG sets, UPS, lighting, and earthing installations.
- Manage testing and commissioning activities for all mechanical and electrical systems.
- Monitor site progress, track productivity, and prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, QA/QC procedures, and HSE requirements.
- Coordinate statutory inspections, approvals, and the closure of NCRs/snags.
- Support handover documentation, including O&M manuals and as-built drawings.
Requirements
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 8-10 years of MEP experience, specifically within hospital construction or large-scale institutional projects.
- Deep technical knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, and ELV systems.
- Familiarity with NBC, IS Codes, NFPA, and local authority regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Proven experience in testing and commissioning of complex building systems.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
