Senior Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical coordination of projects from design and procurement through to delivery and close-out
• Drive engineering solutions to ensure projects run safely, on program, within budget, and to a high standard
• Resolve complex design and construction challenges using a practical, outcome-focused approach
• Lead value engineering and construction sequencing to improve efficiency and reduce risk
• Mentor and guide Project Engineers and Site Engineers to build capability across the team
• Work closely with the Project Manager to take ownership of key project outcomes

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience delivering commercial construction projects, ideally in complex, high-value environments
• Strong technical capability in construction methodologies, design coordination, and project delivery
• Proven ability to lead engineering teams and manage diverse stakeholders
• Commercial awareness, including experience with procurement, cost control, and contract administration
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong communication skills
