Senior Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of allocated project scopes from planning through to completion
• Manage quality assurance, procurement, and subcontractor performance
• Provide technical leadership and engineering expertise to project teams
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and contractual requirements
• Contribute to project planning, programming, forecasting, and reporting
• Mentor and develop Project Engineers, Site Engineers, and Graduates
• Proactively identify and resolve complex engineering and construction challenges

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Demonstrated experience in a Senior Project Engineer or similar role
• Strong background delivering civil infrastructure projects (DTMR experience preferred)
• Proven leadership capability with experience mentoring junior engineers
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong commercial awareness with a value-for-money mindset
• Willingness to work FIFO or DIDO rosters across Queensland
