Senior Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create detailed lift plans ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations
• Conduct structural, load-bearing, and stress analyses
• Determine appropriate cranes, rigging, and lifting equipment for projects
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ASME, AISC, and ANSI standards
• Coordinate on-site activities with project managers and clients
• Perform risk assessments and maintain accurate project documentation
• Mentor junior engineers and review their technical work
• Provide real-time technical support during critical lift operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in crane, rigging, or heavy lifting industry
• Proficiency with CAD, 3D modeling, and industry tools like AutoCAD or Inventor
• Experience with engineering software such as RISA-3D, Ansys, or Mathcad
• Ability to perform detailed load calculations and structural analyses
• Willingness to travel to project sites and work in outdoor/construction environments
• Must pass a drug test, fit for duty, and background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• OSHA 10 certification
