Senior Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle including initiation, design, construction, and closeout for capital and infrastructure projects
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless delivery
• Prepare and review engineering designs, technical specifications, and construction documents
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses
• Oversee construction activities, perform site inspections, and resolve field issues
• Ensure strict compliance with FDA, OSHA, and Abbott standards, including infant formula quality requirements
• Track project progress and communicate status updates to key stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field
• 3–5 years of engineering and project management experience, preferably with capital or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, construction methods, and delivery systems
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with MS Project or Primavera, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of contract administration and procurement processes
• PMP certification
• Familiarity with Design Control, GDP, cGMP, GAMP5, and FDA Computer Software Assurance (CSA)
