Senior Project Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead development teams on large, complex, and high-risk HVACR projects
• Serve as a technical expert to support sales teams in identifying opportunities and conducting customer needs assessments
• Lead estimating, engineering, and financial tasks during the project development phase
• Design Building HVACR systems and calculate associated installation costs
• Perform detailed estimating analysis to quantify cost savings and develop cost baselines
• Conduct on-site data collection at customer facilities to support detailed development tasks
• Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers, vendors, and facility managers
• Participate in transition meetings with Operations and Sales to ensure project scope and customer requirements are met

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field
• Six years of experience in building systems or operational processes
• Proven experience in HVAC design and/or design-build construction
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to assess facility systems
• Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing situations

Preferred Qualifications

• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Certification
• Professional Engineering (PE) license
