Senior Project Contract Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and proactive management of contract and risk mitigation strategies for Metrorex projects.
• Manage extensions of time (EOTs), variation orders, and contract amendments in alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with the core project team to prepare and update the Contract Management Strategy Plan.
• Monitor project progress to ensure compliance with contract obligations and contractual milestones.
• Issue timely contractual notices to customers and partners.
• Establish project-specific commercial procedures regarding correspondence, insurance, and claims preparation.
• Analyze incoming and outgoing communications to manage project correspondence effectively.

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Engineering, Business, or Finance.
• 10 years of experience in contract and claims management within railway, infrastructure, or construction projects.
• Hands-on experience working with Public Procurement contracts in Romania and strong knowledge of Romanian Public Procurement Law.
• Fluency in both Romanian and English (verbal and written).
• Proficiency with Contract Management and Project Management tools and systems.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and maintain operational accountability.
