Senior Project Administrator

Responsibilities

• Monitor the planning, design, construction, and guarantee period of assigned projects
• Coordinate with the Office of Environmental and Hazmat Services, environmental consultants, and sponsor agencies
• Oversee and track projects involving Bluebelt, Best Management Practice (BMP), and wetland mitigation work
• Collaborate with Restoration Specialists on wetland maintenance, including erosion stabilization and invasive species management
• Monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with grading and planting schedules
• Perform routine site inspections and attend substantial completion meetings
• Prepare progress reports and ensure contractors produce required monitoring reports
• Ensure all permit conditions are implemented by contractors and supervising consultants

Requirements

• Must be permanent in the Associate Project Manager title or reachable on DDC’s Promotional Exam #3573 or Open Competitive Exam #3110
• Experience supervising employees performing project management work on engineering, architectural, or landscape architectural projects
• Experience supervising construction projects valued at $1,000,000 or more
• Baccalaureate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, urban planning, or a related field plus required experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Additional experience in a supervisory capacity or managing large/complex construction projects as specified in the qualifications
• Authorization to work full-time in the United States
