Senior Programming & Development Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and program the Twitch Rivals calendar to produce exciting competitive entertainment for creators and gaming communities
• Lead top-of-funnel partnership conversations with publishers, streamers, and brands
• Assist in the development and execution of the Twitch Rivals program strategy
• Collaborate with Amazon Sales to build pitch decks for brand partners
• Work with production vendors to ensure events align with publisher, streamer, and brand priorities
• Review event data to identify opportunities for program improvement
• Write and manage comprehensive event briefs and strategic documentation
• Build and maintain strong relationships with game publishers to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in esports, professional sports, or gaming-related events
• Experience working with sales organizations in a pre-sale or post-sale capacity
• Deep knowledge of various gaming mechanics and competition structures
• Strong verbal communication skills with experience pitching programs or products
• Ability to communicate strategy and intent through detailed documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of nuances between different gaming genres (e.g., tactical FPS vs. hero FPS)
• Experience using or streaming on Twitch and an understanding of its cultural influence
• Active follower of specific streamers or gaming trends
