Senior Program Systems Integration Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integration strategies for satellite communication systems, including ground, space, crypto, and terminal segments.
• Perform analysis of system requirements to define and verify technical baselines.
• Apply Digital Engineering methods and modeling strategies, such as digital twins, to support integration and test activities.
• Lead and support Government/Contractor Working Group meetings by developing briefings, leading technical discussions, and resolving risks.
• Review proposed changes to the technical baseline for impacts on enterprise capabilities and cross-stakeholder integration.
• Serve as a subject matter expert to assess technical issues and prepare briefings for U.S. Space Force program office personnel.
• Support risk management by identifying interdependencies, schedule conflicts, and developing resolution action plans.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of professional engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, specifically in requirements/technical baseline development, test planning, and verification/validation.
• Proven experience developing or managing requirements or Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for complex systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work on-site in a secure facility in El Segundo, CA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical field.
• Experience with MILSATCOM programs (e.g., AEHF, PTS, EPS, WGS, or FAB-T).
• Experience working with military and DoD civilians.
• Knowledge of Agile Development and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or INCOSE (CSEP/ESEP/ASEP).
