Senior Program Manager II/Principal

Responsibilities

• Lead the lifecycle of mission platforms from concept through qualification and flight
• Manage multiple active programs and make architectural decisions with Chief Engineers
• Own the program P&L on a Firm Fixed Price basis, including forecasting and budgeting
• Manage high-stakes subcontracts and strategic suppliers
• Synchronize cross-functional teams across hardware, software, GNC, and mission assurance
• Serve as the primary point of contact for U.S. Government national security customers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in physics, math, science, or a technical discipline
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• 8+ years of aerospace/space industry experience (12+ for Principal level)
• 5+ years of technical program management experience (8+ for Principal level)
• Expertise in one of: prototype-to-flight transition, EO/IR/optical payloads, production engineering, manufacturing risk reduction, or advanced sensing/comms
• Proven ability to identify and neutralize technical, schedule, or supply-chain risks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience transitioning low-volume prototypes into responsive production
• Deep experience navigating National Security Space (NSS) mission sets
• Success in negotiating and executing large U.S. Government contracts
• Master’s degree in engineering or a related field
• Proficiency with Systems Engineering, Jira, Confluence, and ERP systems
