Senior Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to drive high-visibility remediation efforts within the AAD platform for the MDS Business Group.
• Apply project management principles including work breakdown structures, risk management, and integrated business plans.
• Deliver projects on-time through predictable and transparent execution.
• Act as an agile problem solver, negotiator, and motivational coach to resolve business and technical problems.
• Implement strategic and technical direction for the project/program team.
• Lead cross-functional teams through projects of medium scale and moderate complexity.
• Manage functional work streams through the phase gate process.

Requirements

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related engineering degree.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in product development and design.
• 3-5 years of experience in medical device product development (Class II).
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• Proven experience driving remediation and/or sustaining engineering projects.
• Familiarity with medical device regulations and FDA submissions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in an engineering discipline or an MBA.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Familiarity with Advanced Access Devices.
