Senior Program Manager - Aviation

Responsibilities

• Manage new and ongoing programs delivering satellite connectivity systems to aviation customers
• Orchestrate product development, aircraft certification, and product delivery to ensure all customer requirements are met
• Oversee linefit and retrofit programs for seamless connectivity system integration
• Lead relationships with airline customers and airframe manufacturers throughout the product lifecycle
• Manage relationships with vendors, partners, and key stakeholders
• Implement quality control processes to guarantee reliability, performance, and safety of in-flight systems
• Identify programmatic and technical risks and develop effective mitigation plans
• Develop and manage program budgets, resource allocation, and schedules to ensure on-time delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aerospace, business administration, or a related field
• 8+ years of relevant work experience
• Experience managing phases of the aviation product lifecycle (design, development, testing, certification, production, and support)
• Experience managing STC projects with FAA or EASA
• Experience working with Airlines and OEMs and an understanding of their internal operations
• Proficiency in Smartsheet, MS Project, Excel, and MS Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, aerospace, or business administration
• Proven ability to influence a variety of stakeholders to establish concurrence
