Senior Program Manager, Aerospace and Defense

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of aerospace and defense programs from inception to completion
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and customer personnel
• Set framework and analysis parameters to characterize programmatic, technical, and risk trades
• Build and utilize program management tools to draft proposals and track performance
• Monitor program performance against metrics and implement corrective actions
• Formulate program strategy across a portfolio of customers
• Develop and maintain relationships with defense primes, subcontractors, and DoD stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management within aerospace and defense
• Strong technical background in aerospace structures and familiarity with FEA
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing and robotic assembly systems
• Experience with DoD acquisition cycles and FAR
• Experience with airworthiness certifications and engaging with AFTC or FAA
• Experience with fast iteration hardware prototyping programs
• Active Secret Clearance desired; Top Secret preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
• Previous technical leadership experience (Chief Engineer or IPT Lead)
• PMP certification
