Senior Program Director

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead complex, large-scale transportation projects and programs in the Southern California region.
• Provide project and program leadership to ensure the achievement of overall vision and goals.
• Establish project structures, controls, and accountability frameworks.
• Collaborate with managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and execution plans.
• Assign and manage staff to ensure effective project or program delivery.
• Act as the primary company representative with clients and subcontractors during program execution.
• Promote technical and commercial excellence across all project elements.

Requirements

• 4-year degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical/business field.
• 20+ years of related work experience, specifically managing large-scale transportation projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration in California, or the ability to achieve registration within one year.
• Extensive experience managing major infrastructure projects or multifaceted programs valued at $500 million or more.
• Deep knowledge of California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) project development processes.
• Proven experience with alternative delivery methods, such as design-build, CMGC, or progressive design-build.
• Strong command of managerial, communication, and problem-solving skills.
