Senior Program Director

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large-scale capital asset programs of $1BN USD or more, overseeing teams from conceptual design through operational qualification.
• Manage project objectives including safety, cost, schedule, and quality assurance for both Brownfield and Greenfield sites.
• Maintain effective communication with GFD leadership, governance teams, business partners, and other stakeholders while working from a regional distance.
• Facilitate issue resolution, anticipate scope changes, and implement project work safely and efficiently.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety/environmental execution plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a technical related field (e.g., project management).
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in capital project delivery within industrial or manufacturing facilities.
• Proven experience managing greenfield projects.
• Willingness to relocate to the project location and travel domestically and internationally (approximately 15% to 30%).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing (Bulk API, sterile products, secondary packaging, or devices).
• Knowledge of GMP manufacturing, LEAN, automation, and construction quality.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Demonstrated ability to influence personnel and organizations without direct administrative responsibility.
• Experience working or living outside of the United States.
