About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage large-scale capital asset programs of $1BN USD or more, overseeing teams from conceptual design through operational qualification.
- Manage project objectives including safety, cost, schedule, and quality assurance for both Brownfield and Greenfield sites.
- Maintain effective communication with GFD leadership, governance teams, business partners, and other stakeholders while working from a regional distance.
- Facilitate issue resolution, anticipate scope changes, and implement project work safely and efficiently.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety/environmental execution plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a technical related field (e.g., project management).
- Minimum of 15+ years of experience in capital project delivery within industrial or manufacturing facilities.
- Proven experience managing greenfield projects.
- Willingness to relocate to the project location and travel domestically and internationally (approximately 15% to 30%).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing (Bulk API, sterile products, secondary packaging, or devices).
- Knowledge of GMP manufacturing, LEAN, automation, and construction quality.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Demonstrated ability to influence personnel and organizations without direct administrative responsibility.
- Experience working or living outside of the United States.
