Senior Program Delivery Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery cadence across engineering teams, tracking sprint commitments, velocity, cycle time, and commitment reliability
• Facilitate cross-team dependency management and ensure shared resources are allocated effectively
• Run program-level ceremonies including cross-team standups, delivery reviews, and quarterly planning coordination
• Build and maintain delivery dashboards and reporting for engineering leadership
• Serve as the senior on-the-ground leader in Pune, working alongside the Office Manager and local HR on onboarding, retention, engagement, and hiring logistics
• Act as an escalation point for Pune-based staff on operational or interpersonal matters
• Support SDLC evolution and champion AI-assisted development tools across teams
• Own the onboarding playbook for new Pune-based engineers
• Maintain structured communication rhythms across US, UK, and AU timezones

Requirements

• 8+ years in program management, delivery management, or engineering operations
• Experience coordinating delivery across 5+ concurrent engineering teams
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks
• Excellent English communication skills
• Experience in distributed, multi-timezone engineering organizations
• Experience partnering with HR on people operations or onboarding
• Based in Pune or willing to relocate

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a product company that transitioned from contractors to FTEs
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows
• Prior experience standing up or scaling an offshore engineering hub
