Senior Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Facilitate active recess programming to promote positive behavior and student engagement
• Lead Class Game Time sessions to build teamwork and conflict resolution skills
• Coordinate and mentor the Junior Coach Leadership Program for 4th and 5th grade students
• Partner with school leadership to support attendance, school climate, and student belonging
• Use program and school data to monitor impact and support continuous improvement
• Manage schedules, reporting, and program documentation
• Participate in school-based teams, professional development, and community activities

Requirements

• Experience working with elementary-aged students in school, youth development, or recreation settings
• Reliable transportation to reach assigned schools in Boston
• Ability to pass National Sex Offender, State criminal, and FBI background checks
• Successful completion of a TB test and CPR/First Aid certification upon hire
• Willingness to actively participate in games and set a positive example for children
• Ability to meet physical demands including bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting school culture or student engagement efforts
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to build trust quickly within diverse school communities
