About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project oversight for Non-Program of Record (NPOR) acquisition solutions, from requirement validation to sustainment.
- Develop agile and tailored acquisition strategies for unique foreign partner requirements.
- Identify appropriate rapid contracting vehicles and coordinate with industry to secure solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments focusing on long-term sustainment, interoperability, and technology transfer.
- Develop obsolescence and lifecycle support plans for systems lacking a U.S. Army program sponsor.
- Serve as the primary liaison between foreign partners, DASA DE&C, Program Acquisition Executives, and Life Cycle Management Commands.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a technical field.
- 8-12 years of proven experience in DoD/Army acquisition or program management.
- Current Secret security clearance.
- Demonstrated experience managing agile, rapid, or non-traditional acquisition projects.
- Expert knowledge of alternative acquisition pathways such as Middle Tier of Acquisition or Other Transaction Authority (OTA).
- Strong understanding of lifecycle logistics and sustainment planning for unique systems.
- Ability to communicate complex project plans and risks to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree.
- TS/SCI Clearance.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- DAU certification in Program Management (PM) at the Advanced level.
