Senior Program Analyst

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance by the command with DoN FOIA policy and guidance
• Receive, review, log, and track FOIA and Privacy Act requests in a case management system
• Analyze request scope, determine search requirements, and coordinate tasking with Navy program offices
• Maintain FOIA website links and ensure public information remains current
• Monitor program performance, produce metrics, and recommend workflow improvements
• Provide advisory support on FOIA workflow, exemptions, redactions, and complex request handling

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• 10+ years of experience supporting Strategic Weapons Systems (SWS) programs
• Experience with SSP (Strategic Systems Programs)
• Expertise in applying Security Classification Guides (SCG) to SWS records
• Familiarity with SWS Standard Operating Procedures, Ordnance Documents, and Fleet Documentation
• Knowledge of subsystem interconnectivity and D5LE2 programs
• Active DoD Security Clearance at the SECRET level (or held within the past 2 years)
• Familiarity with Secure Release tracking systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Adobe
• Experience in FOIA program operations, compliance, or records management
• Strong knowledge of FOIA concepts including request lifecycle, exemptions, and appeals

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience supporting DOD or Navy FOIA programs
• Familiarity with CUI/PII handling and records retention
• Experience producing annual FOIA reports and managing metrics
