Senior Professional, Financial Planning and Analysis

Responsibilities

• Manage and analyze the financial performance and profitability of multiple business lines independently
• Partner with Regional Business Line and Finance Executives to establish annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Generate and evaluate financial reports, escalating critical items to finance leads as necessary
• Maintain quality control for project-related financial records using Oracle and advanced spreadsheets
• Investigate project variances regarding resources, labor, and expenses, and submit detailed reports to management
• Monitor group A/R and WIP in close collaboration with operations to ensure corrective actions are taken
• Support the preparation of budget proposals and monthly forecast documentation and justification
• Perform ad hoc reporting using profit and loss statements, GL reports, and other financial data

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of operational finance or accounting experience in a dynamic organization
• Proven experience working within a professional services organization (e.g., engineering or consulting)
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical skills and working knowledge of key financial metrics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage complex details
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours to meet deadlines and occasional travel to district offices

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Fusion
• Experience with Hyperion Planning
