Senior Production Technician, Packing

Responsibilities

• Maintain line operations to meet safety, quality, and production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ensure production lines are set up with proper materials per the Bill of Material (BOM) and verify batch documents
• Load and replenish production supplies using powered industrial trucks or lifts
• Determine staffing requirements to meet the production schedule and adjust accordingly
• Perform required quality checks per Packing SOP and document results accurately
• Monitor line equipment operations to optimize performance and complete preventative maintenance tasks
• Maintain the packing area in an audit-ready state using 6S principles
• Train and certify new Production Technicians on responsible processes

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to obtain Worksaver Operator Certification and Inspector Certification
• Basic English communication skills (written and oral)
• Basic mathematics and computer skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, squatting, and climbing

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Production Technician or in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with machine troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
