Senior Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and direct daily production activities to ensure compliance with established process control and operating procedures.
• Schedule resources and prioritize activities to ensure efficient production schedule compliance, including product changeovers, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Provide daily direction to production and maintenance employees, team leaders, technicians, and engineers.
• Communicate and report production and process performance metrics to plant operations staff and functional leaders.
• Engage with plant teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost reduction projects.
• Perform performance reviews and develop career and talent development plans for both hourly and salaried employees.
• Ensure the production process operates within established set-points and enforce rigorous change control.
• Monitor all process/equipment changes, including new product trial runs and equipment redesigns.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar supervisory position.
• Frontline supervisory or team leader experience in a manufacturing plant environment.
• Proven capability to hold teams accountable to process control and discipline.
• Experience leading teams to meet continuous improvement, cost reduction, or performance goals.
• Strong understanding of process management systems and process control techniques.
• Proficient level of English.
• Understanding of cost accounting and managing for profitability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a process engineering role with the ability to perform in-depth analysis for complex problem-solving.
• Experience launching and ramping new products into manufacturing.
• Green Belt certification in Performance Excellence, Lean, or DMAIC methods.
